Terms of Use

By using PicButler ("PicButler", "we", "our"), you agree to these terms and Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement.

What PicButler does

PicButler helps you curate your photo library. The app:

• Detects events in your library (multi-day trips and single-day moments like concerts or dinners) using on-device analysis of creation dates, location data, and visual similarity
• Surfaces duplicate and similar photos within each event so you can keep the best version and delete the rest
• Walks you through a single-photo review of the remaining photos, letting you mark favorites and photos worth sharing
• Saves your curated selection as a per-event album in iOS Photos (titled "PicButler · <event name>")
• Identifies old screenshots for quick cleanup

All photo analysis happens on your device. PicButler never uploads your photos to any server.

Subscriptions

PicButler offers a free scan and a first curation flow at no cost. Saving curated albums and deleting photos beyond the free tier require an active subscription.

• Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase
• The 3-day free trial is available on the annual plan only. It automatically converts to a paid annual subscription unless you cancel before it ends
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
• You can manage subscriptions and turn off auto-renewal in your Apple ID Account Settings
• No refund is provided for the unused portion of the current period after cancellation

Curated albums and deletions

When you complete a curation, PicButler creates an album in your iOS Photos library titled with the "PicButler · " prefix. This album is yours: it lives in iOS Photos, syncs to your other devices through iCloud Photos (if you have it enabled), and survives uninstalling PicButler.

PicButler never deletes photos without your explicit confirmation. Every deletion requires approval through the iOS system prompt. Deleted photos are moved to your Recently Deleted album, where they remain for 30 days before permanent removal by iOS.

You are responsible for reviewing which photos to keep, save to an album, or delete. PicButler's suggestions are based on automated analysis and may not always match your personal preferences.

No warranty

PicButler is provided "as is." While we strive to surface meaningful events and accurate quality comparisons, we do not guarantee that the analysis will be perfect in every case.

Changes to these terms

If we update these terms, the revised version will be posted at this URL with an updated effective date.
