# PicButler

> PicButler is your personal photo butler for iPhone. It frees up storage by going through your camera roll with you, month by month: it clears the clutter, helps you keep only the photos you love from every trip and event, and saves them as albums in Apple Photos. ## What it does

- Finds trips, nights out and holidays in the library, month by month, and lets you finish each one as a short chapter.
- Groups exact duplicates and near-identical shots (bursts, repeated takes), keeps the best one and explains the choice. The user can pick a different photo.
- Lets the user swipe through the remaining photos to keep or let go, and prepares favorites for sharing on Instagram.
- Saves the kept photos as an album in the Photos app, so it syncs with iCloud Photos.
- Rediscover: every day, ten photos of one theme from across the years; kept photos go to that theme's album in Apple Photos. Free for everyone.
- Cleanup tab: similar and duplicate photos, large videos, Live Photos that can be converted to save space, and old screenshots.
- Deleted photos go to Recently Deleted in Apple Photos and can be recovered for 30 days. Nothing is deleted without confirmation.

## Privacy

- Asks only for the photo library, plus notifications if the user wants them. No contacts, microphone, calendar or location.
- No ads, ever. No tracking across other apps, no App Tracking Transparency prompt.
- No generative AI on your photos: PicButler never creates or retouches images. It uses Apple's on-device image analysis to group similar photos and score them, shows why it picked each one, and the user makes the final call.
